OPI: My Very First Knockwurst
I’m starting to think that I woke up with an extra sprinkle of “girly girl” this morning. Ever have one of those days where you’re just feeling extra, ultra feminine? Raising both of my hands because that’s how I’m feeling. It could be the pearls, or my hair pulled back from my face. But, I think it has a lot to do with my polish.

This OPI masterpiece is a simple but beautiful shade. It’s creamy, smooth and barely there with a kiss of mauve. Ooooohhhh yea, “My Very First Knockwurst” is a winner.

Shiny or Matte? I’ve long confessed my undying love for nail polish. I change it often and still keep trying to enjoy each manicure…down to the last drop.
So when I fell in love with this Rain storm shade by Sinful Colors, it only seemed right to add Essie’s Matte About You to change the look.

Rain Forest Nails

I’m smitten with Sinful Colors new fall line. I started with “Muse” as a base to create my rain forest nails. Of course in my world (my forest) there’s always glitter (Kleancolor “Midnight Seduction). The striping tape helped me keep my lines straight and the bling was just a little eh, fruit on the tree!

If you haven’t checked out the latest colors from Sinful Colors you really should. Great colors, prices and formula.

Cuticle Remover

I can’t remember who to thank for this wonderful recommendation. This Sally Hansen instant cuticle remover is the TRUTH and it does what it says it will do. I picked it up from Target this past weekend.

Like most products, you yield the best results when you follow the directions. I recommend that you follow these simple directions for this product I’ll be adding this to my arsenal of nail goodies.

The Junior League of Long Beach

I recently joined the Junior League of Long Beach. It’s both an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to serve my community. Click the links to learn more.

Take Inventory!

Every once in a while, we have to “take inventory” of what’s in our lives. This week, with Major help from my Whitney, I took inventory of my treasured nail polish stash.

Hello Holo!

Holo, Holo and mo’ Holo! I love holographic nail polish. Initially I missed the “buffing step” and wasn’t sure how I felt about the application.

Now, I know what I’m doing! So, hello holo. It’s nice to really meet you.

I used Orly Decoded for the base. The holographic nail polish is Mermaid Spell by Layla Cosmetics. It’s available at Ulta.
